Corona vaccination: Telangana govt decides students going abroad to get corona vaccine from June 2

Hyderabad: The Telangana government will start the Covid-19 vaccine from June 5 for students going abroad for higher education. A separate system has been proposed at the Narayanguda Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) in Hyderabad to vaccinate students going abroad for higher studies. An online slot booking system is being created for the convenience of these students and will be launched on 4th June. The link to this facility will be available at www.health.telangana.gov.in. The vaccination slot will be available from June 2.

The state cabinet meeting on May 31 decided to vaccinate students going abroad for higher education. It has been announced that these students will be vaccinated on a priority basis based on their admission. Yokeet, India’s largest forum for students interested in studying abroad, welcomed the Telangana government’s decision to vaccinate expatriate students for higher studies. Co-founder and higher education expert Sumit Jain said it was a welcome move. He said the move would bring a lot of positivity among students that those in power are about them. This is a welcome step and will give a lot of students the opportunity to travel with confidence.
