Washington, May 9: The number of cases worldwide in Corona has risen to 15.72 crore and 32.7 lakh people have died during this period. Johns Hopkins University released this information on Sunday. In the university’s latest update on Sunday morning, the university’s Center for Science and Engineering (CSS) revealed that the current global coronary events and deaths from it stood at 157,250,537 and 3,278,007, respectively.
According to the CSSE, the United States is in the worst position with the highest number of 32,685,864 cases and 588,511 deaths. In terms of infection, India ranks second with 21,892,676 cases. Other countries with more than 2 million confirmed coronavirus cases are Brazil (15,145,879), France (5,829,166), Turkey (5,016,141), Russia (4,816,331), United Kingdom (4,448,808), Italy (4,102,821), Germany (4,102,921). 3,520,392), followed by Argentina (3,136,158), Colombia (2,985,536), Poland (2,829,196), Iran (2,640,670), Mexico (2,361,874) and Ukraine (2,169,650), with 421,316 deaths.
