The divorce case between IAS Tina Dabi and her husband Athar Aamir remains a matter of discussion. Tina Dabi and Athar Aamir, who were the toppers of the 2015 batch of the Indian Administrative Service, have filed for divorce in Jaipur’s Family Court. Both the applications have been given together. Despite this, Tina and Athar’s divorce may take six months.
Law experts say that in the Family Court, a six-month cooling-off project is set for divorce in case the divorce application is filed. During this time, if the agreement is reached between the two, then they can withdraw the petition. But, if the consent is not agreed and both the pleas are not withdrawn, the court can issue the decree granting the divorce application.
However, in many cases, the Supreme Court’s decisions regarding the absence of cooling period have also come. For this, both the parties will have to seek a hearing from the court soon. If the court is ready for hearing soon, then the divorce application can be approved in less than six months.
The marriage of both had made a lot of headlines on social media. IAS officers Tina Dabi and Athar Khan are believed to have come close to each other during training, after which both of them got married. Both Tina and Athar are officers of Rajasthan cadre and posted in Jaipur.
