Pratapgarh: A horrific road accident occurred in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh late on Thursday night. On the Lucknow-Prayagraj highway, a speeding unruly bolero entered the truck. 14 people died in this accident. Many children are also among those killed in the accident. The accident has been confirmed by Pratapgarh SP Anurag Arya. After getting information about the accident, the police force reached the spot. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a compensation of two lakh rupees to the families of the deceased. SP Anurag Arya has predicted the accident after the driver of the Bolero blinked. On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the Pratapgarh accident. Chief Minister Yogi has directed senior officials to reach the spot and provide all possible assistance to the victims.Major accident on Lucknow-Prayagraj highwayAccording to the information, all the Baratis were returning from Bolero from Shekapur in Nababganj area in Pratapgarh district. On Thursday night at about one o’clock on the Lucknow-Prayagraj highway, the Bolero of the bararatis entered the truck. After this fierce collision, 14 barayots riding in the Bolero were killed. On information, SP Anurag Arya reached the spot along with the police force and got involved in relief work.Barati, a resident of Jirgapur in Kunda KotwaliSP said that all Barati Kunda hails from Jirgapur of Kotwali. The shocking road accident occurred in Deshraj Inara of Manikpur police station area. After receiving information about the horrific accident, the jurisdictional (CO) Kunda reached the accident site with the force of several police stations. The accident was so severe that the Bolero, who was in the truck with the help of a gas cutter, had to cut and remove many dead. The bodies of the dead have been sent for postmortem.
