Bihar Election: Conflict in Grand Alliance, will Tejashwi Yadav be CM candidate
Patna. Bihar assembly elections in 3 phases have been announced. All political parties including BJP, JDU, RJD and Congress are gearing up for elections. While the BJP-JDU alliance is contesting under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, Lalu’s younger son Tejashwi is leading the grand alliance.
Along with seats in the Grand Alliance, there is a lot of ruckus about the CM face. The RJD leader wants Tejashwi to contest the election by declaring him the face of the Chief Minister’s post. However, the Congress is not fully prepared for this. Both the parties even told each other that they are preparing to contest elections in all 243 seats.
However, RJD leaders also say that former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has also said on several occasions that Tejashwi is the face of the grand alliance.
Here, the resentment of Upendra Singh Kushwaha of RLSP is also not taking the name of being reduced. They too can leave the Grand Alliance on the occasion and join the BJP once again.
A similar situation is seen in the BJP-JDU alliance as well. Though Nitish is the candidate for the CM post from the coalition, but LJP seems angry with this. Even many LJP leaders are demanding to make Chirag Paswan a CM candidate.
