India expresses strong opposition to Pakistan over Jaish-e-Mohammed attack plot


New Delhi 21 November (Sanmarg Live) India summoned the charge of the Pakistan High Commission and expressed strong opposition to the conspiracy of the failed terrorist attack of Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed in Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir on November 19 and said that it would be a national security All necessary steps will be taken strongly.
The Ministry of External Affairs summoned the incharge of the Pakistani High Commission and reprimanded him. It was demanded that Pakistan desist from its policy of supporting terrorists and terrorist organizations operating from its soil and to root out the structure of terrorists who attack and plot attacks on other countries.
According to a statement issued here today by the Ministry of External Affairs, India reiterated that Pakistan should abide by international obligations and bilateral commitments and should not allow the use of the land under its control against terrorism against India. India also reiterated that it will take all necessary steps for its national security in the fight against terrorism.
Initial reports have revealed that the attackers were members of the Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, a UN-banned organization. This organization was also involved in the Pulwama attack in February 2019. Four Jaish terrorists were killed and two policemen were injured in an encounter at Nagrota cantonment near Jammu. Security forces had received intelligence that these terrorists were riding in a truck. A heavy stock of weapons and ammunition has been found in this truck. This shows that during the District Development Council elections in Jammu and Kashmir, a large-scale conspiracy was hatched to create disturbances.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation in a meeting with top security officials here on Friday, which included Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringla and top intelligence officials.
