Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted those against inter-religious marriages under the guise of ‘Love Jihad’. Owaisi said that the states where law is being enacted regarding love jihad is a violation of constitutional provisions. He has advised those who support it to read the Constitution.

Owaisi says that any such law is a violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution. Accusing the BJP of spreading communalism, Owaisi said that it only wants to give communal color to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections (GHMC).
