In the investigation after the encounter, intelligence agencies have come to know that the slain terrorist belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed and had come here as part of a conspiracy to carry out a major incident before the 12th anniversary of the Mumbai attacks.
It is noteworthy that a large quantity of arms has been recovered from the slain terrorists. Security forces say that for the first time such a large number of weapons have been recovered recently.
After the meeting, Mr. Modi tweeted and appreciated the indomitable courage and bravery of the security forces, thanking them for turning the terrorists on.
Shri Modi said that the scale of the weapons and explosive material recovered from the four terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed in their motives indicates that the terrorists’ plot was to wreak havoc, The security forces have once again defeated them.
