Srinagar: In Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces on Saturday arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed militants in Kashmir’s Pulwama district, achieving great success. A police spokesman gave this information. He said that after receiving secret information, the security forces have arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed militants identified as Bilal Ahmed Chopan, resident of Vagad Tral and Mursalin Bashir, resident of Chatlam Pampore. He said that investigation has found that the two terrorists were providing transportation and shelter for arms and ammunition to the terrorists in Pampore and Tral area of Pulwama. They said that both these terrorists have also been found involved in Jaish-e-Mohammed giving sensitive information to the terrorists and some material has also been seized from them. The spokesperson said that FIR numbers 96/2020 and 90/2020 have been registered against the two terrorists under separate sections of law at Tral and Pampore police stations and further investigation is being done. Earlier on Thursday, four militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Nagrota area of Jammu city and two jawans of the Jammu Kashmir Police Special Operations Group were also injured.
