Madhya Pradesh: Threat of hijacking from Bhopal-Indore

Bhopal, June 2: The manager of Rajvej Airport in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, received a threatening call threatening to hijack the plane to Pakistan. Security at Bhopal and Indore airports has been beefed up following the threat.

According to police, Dharmaraj Verma, director (terminal manager) of Raja Bhoj Airport, received an unknown call on Tuesday evening threatening to hijack the plane. Verma informed the security officer and Gandhi Nagar police after the threat was called. It is said that security has been beefed up at Bhopal and Indore police stations following the threat, and a young man from Shujalpur has been arrested for allegedly calling him.
