Mumbai: The death toll in Maharashtra’s Kovid-19 has crossed one lakh. However, the decline in fresh cases of infection continues. Health officials said this on Sunday. The total number of infections recorded so far reached 58,31,781, surpassing France. In contrast to the 41 deaths announced on Saturday, the state recorded 6861 deaths (233 fresh and 365 previous deaths). The number of fresh cases dropped to 12,5557 from 13,6559 on Saturday, which now stands at 58,31,781 in the states.
In Mumbai, for the sixth day in a row, the number of new infections dropped to 78৮ 78 from 633 on Saturday, and the number of cities stood at 710,6433. The death toll rose to 14,971 with 20 more deaths in the country’s commercial capital. The number of active cases is 16,02. The number has dropped from 16 to 185,52, and another 14,433 patients have returned to the country.
