Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said at the G20 summit that integrated, comprehensive and holistic thinking should be adopted rather than being isolated and fighting against climate change. When developing countries will be provided with large-scale technology and financial support.
In his address on ‘Protection of the Earth’ at the G20 conference, Modi said that India is not only achieving its goal of Paris Agreement but is doing more than that. He said, due to our traditional nature of living in harmony with the environment and the commitment of the government, India has adopted the development process of low carbon emissions and climate friendly.
He said that the whole world can progress at a rapid pace only if large-scale technology and financial assistance is provided to the developing countries. The labor should be focused on the human dignity of every worker rather than just looking at production. He said that conservation of the earth will be ensured only with such a stand.
Modi also attended the two-day 15th G-20 Summit organized by Saudi Arabia on the first day. The summit was attended by the Heads of State and Heads of State, European Union, other invited countries and international organizations related to 19 member nations. In the wake of the 19 epidemic, this summit was conducted through digital medium.
