new Delhi. Government oil companies have reduced the prices of petrol and diesel today. Petrol price has been reduced from 14 to 16 paise per liter, while the price of diesel has been reduced by 19 to 20 paise per liter.
In the country’s capital Delhi, both petrol and diesel prices have come down today. Petrol has become cheaper here at Rs 81.40 per liter, while diesel has become Rs 72.37 per liter. Similarly, the price of petrol in Mumbai also decreased to Rs 88.07 per liter and the price of diesel was reduced to Rs 78.85 per liter.
Meanwhile in Kolkata, petrol is getting cheaper at Rs 82.98 per liter and diesel is being sold at Rs 75.92 per liter. On the other hand, in Chennai also petrol is being sold at a cost of Rs 84.44 per liter and diesel 77.73 per liter.
Similarly, the price of petrol and diesel has also been cut in Bengaluru. Here petrol is cheap at Rs 84.01 per liter and diesel is being sold at Rs 76.62 per liter. Petrol became costlier by 1.65 paise in the last 13 installments in Delhi.
However, since last September 10, there is a stagnation of shortage and till now it has reduced by 68 paise. Government oil companies, after reviewing prices, fix petrol and diesel rates every day.
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at six in the morning and new rates are applied thereafter. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles.
