Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) took part in the Luxembourg Virtual Summit on Thursday. PM Modi addressed this virtual summit. PM Modi said that I am happy that our space agency recently launched four satellites of Luxembourg. We welcome Luxembourg’s decision to join the International Solar Alliance.

Addressing the summit, PM Modi said, I convey my condolences on behalf of me and the people of India for the loss of life in Luxembourg during the Corona period. I appreciate your efficient leadership. He said that this would be the first stand-alone summit meeting between India and Luxembourg in the last two decades.

PM Modi said in conversation that during the Corona era, the India-Luxembourg partnership can prove to be an ally for the two countries in the health and economic fields.

He further said that there is a great possibility of economic exchange between India and Luxembourg. We still have good cooperation in areas like steel, digital domain. There is a huge possibility of taking it further.

At the same time, Javier Betel of Luxembourg said, ‘I welcome agreements in the field of space and finance. We know that when we work together, we are strong. You can count on us. We have supported and welcomed India’s election to the UNSC for 2021-22.
