Hyundai Creta 2024:Hyundai Motor India has formally launched the newer model of the Hyundai Creta 2024, with a starting price of Rs 10,99,900 (ex-showroom). The top model costs Rs 19,99,900 (ex-showroom). These rates are a start deal that will be available for a limited period. The updated Creta will compete with vehicles such as the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, and the new Tata Curvv.
The 2017 Hyundai Creta facelift comes with three powertrain options:
1. 1.5-liter MPi petrol (115PS/144Nm)
2. 1.5-liter Kappa Turbo GDi petrol (160PS/253Nm)
3. 1.5-liter U2 CRDi diesel (116PS/250Nm)
For each engine, you have the option of a 6-speed manual gearbox, an IVT automatic, a 7-speed DCT automatic, or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Hyundai promises outstanding mileage numbers for its Creta 2024 facelift:
– 1.5-liter MPI petrol 6-speed MT: 17.4 kmpl.
– 1.5-litre MPi petrol IVT: 17.7 kmpl
– 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol, 7-speed DCT: 18.4kmpl.
– 1.5-liter U2 CRDi diesel 6-speed manual: 21.8 kmpl
– 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel, 6-speed AT: 19.1kmpl.
Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ around the world design language appears in the modified Creta, which has a new front profile, black chrome parametric radiator grille, and quad-beam LED headlights. The rear profile includes new typical linked LED taillights, a reworked tailboard and an aerodynamic spoiler. The car sits on revised 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
In terms of measurements, the Hyundai Creta 2024 facelift is 4,330mm long, 1,790mm wide, and 1,635mm tall with roof racks. The base of the wheel measures 2,610mm long. The car comes in six monochromatic colour variants as well as a dual-tone option.
Inside, the Hyundai Creta 2024 features a new dashboard with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch multi-display digital cluster. The main console now has controls for the new dual-zone automatic temperature control. The cabin also comes with a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, front-row ventilated seats, 8-way power adjustment for the driver seat, ambient lighting, 360 vision monitor, blind spot view monitor, and a Bose premium sound system with eight speakers
The Hyundai Creta 2024 facelift comes with Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS, which includes frontal collision warning, blind-spot view monitor, lane keeping assist, driver attention alert, and other safety features. Hyundai highlighted safety with over 70 features, including 36 standard features including 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts for all seats, disc brakes on all four wheels, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist control.
Surround vision monitor, electrochromic mirror with telematics switches, electronic parking brake with auto hold, front parking sensor, and blind-spot view monitor are a few of the improved safety features. The Creta facelift also has Hyundai’s Bluelink connectivity technology, which provides over 70 linked functions such as engine start/stop, door lock/unlock, vehicle condition information, and a free membership to JioSaavn Pro.
