According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan had been feeling badly and went to the hospital. He needed to have a cardiac angioplasty. This means doctors worked on his heart to help improve blood flow.

According to another report, doctors at Kokilaben Hospital verified that Amitabh Bachchan had an angioplasty on Friday. An official statement from his public relations team will be released later.

Amitabh got sick and had to go to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute in Mumbai. He had an angioplasty for his heart. He was attending events but feeling uneasy, so he was taken to the hospital for a general checkup. The doctors suggested he have the operation. Thankfully, he’s feeling better now.

While these reports about his health are out, Amitabh shared a message on Friday, expressing his gratitude. He also shared a video promoting his Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) team. So far, neither Amitabh nor his family has released a statement.

He had a torn muscle and strained rib cartilage. Because of these health issues, he could not go to the San Diego Comic Con to promote the picture.

Amitabh recently shared on his blog that he’s been working on Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. He added that they had been working late nights to complete it. The movie is set to be released on May 9th.
