“From vibrant designs to powerful internals, delve into the Samsung Galaxy S24 series with advanced features, a sleek design, and an anticipated launch on January 18, 2024.”
Excitement is building as details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series have surfaced ahead of its global and India launch. Leaks covering everything from the design to specs and color choices have already created a buzz.
Rumors suggest that the Samsung S24 series will maintain similar price points as its predecessor, the S23 series, but whether this holds true for the Indian market remains uncertain.
Specifically, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra appears to have seen slight design improvements, similar to those observed in the S23 Ultra compared to the S22 Ultra. Among the noticeable changes are a titanium frame, uniform display bezels, and new color options include titanium violet, titanium black, titanium gray, and titanium yellow.
Featuring a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x curved show with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, 100% refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Eye Comfort Shield, and a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits, this flagship model seems excellent. The device’s security is improved by an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is expected to be placed internally in the Samsung S24 Ultra across all markets, with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage available. A 50MP lens has been introduced to the camera in place of the fourth telephoto sensor to boost optical zoom. Nothing has changed with the front sensor.
A 5000mAh battery that supports 45W cable charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging powers the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The inclusion of features such as S-Pen support and IP68 water and dust resistance enhances its looks. Software-wise, it runs on OneUI 6.1, which is based on Android 14. Support for UWB, Wi-Fi 7, 5G, LTE, NFC, Bluetooth v5.3, and Wi-Fi Direct are among the connectivity choices.
Hopes are high due to positive and reportedly accurate leaks. Samsung’s S24 portfolio has potential for success if it continues to follow the path set by the Galaxy S23 series.
Regarding the launch date, Samsung is yet to officially announce this date, but it believes that theSamsung Galaxy S24 series will be making its debut on January 18, 2024.
Although details about the cost have not yet came out, early signs point to it likely challenging with the Galaxy S23 series in foreign regions. The base model will likely to cost more than Rs 70,000 in India, while the Ultra model may cost up to Rs 1,25,000.
