 Ayodhya Ram Mandir :A huge crowd gathered on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, to enter the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The temple opens to the public the day after the new Ram Lalla statue showed.On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, and other famous people joined in Ayodhya for Ram Lalla’s much-anticipated Pran Pratishtha event. As part of the right, military aircraft rained flower petals over the temple grounds.  

 The 51-inch-tall statue portrays a five-year-old Lord Ram, skillfully made by artist Arun Yogiraj of Mysuru, with the sacred figure standing gracefully on a lotus, exactly carved from a single piece of stone.

The amazing event brought over 7,000 high-profile individuals from all across the country, including celebrities, athletes, businesspeople, and politicians.   The Ram Mandir complex, built in the ancient Nagara architectural style, is 380 feet east-west, 250 feet broad, and 161 feet tall.   The vertical design consists of many stories, each reaching 20 feet in height, supported by 392 pillars, and covered with 44 gates..   

PM Modi participated in an 11-day religious practice known as ‘anushthan’, during which he slept on the ground and drank coconut water in preparation for the Ayodhya event on January 22. Prior to the Ram Mandir’s consecration ceremony, he visited different temples in India and had a sacred bath in Rameswaram’s ‘Angi theerth’, which is located by the ocean. 

  Following the opening ceremony for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Modi thanked everyone and congratulated them for their patience over the last century.   He called on the people to work towards building a powerful and sacred India that can thrive for the next thousand years.

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the construction of the Ram temple inspires powerful emotions and a sense of energy.   He advised that the focus should be on showing Ram’s heart, which is energy, rather than conflict or enmity.    “Major aspects of the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony included:” – PM Modi led the Pran Pratishtha ceremony for Ram Lalla’s idol at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.

  • – Later, at the temple’s inner sanctorum, PM Modi carried out the ‘aarti’ of the newly shown Ram Lalla statue in the Chief Minister’s as well as Mohan Bhagwat’s presence .
  • – After the rite, PM Modi met those present at the temple and congratulated them.   He added, “After decades of waiting, Lord Ram has finally come home.   During his address, he stated, “After centuries of strength and sacrifice, our beloved Lord Ram has finally arrived.”
  • – PM Modi then performed prayers at the Kuber Tila Shiva temple before presenting the Jatayu statue.   The ancient Shiv temple at Kuber Tila within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex is also being rebuilt under the supervision of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is in charge of the Ram temple’s construction.
  • – He later showered flower petals on the Ram Mandir building’s workers.
